Assist Maps - Pin Your Places

Assist Maps lets you pin your favorite places on your own map. Keep shops, clients, travel spots and anything else you want to remember, sorted into groups. PIN PLACES ON THE MAP - Move the map to set a spot, then save it with a title, notes, a URL, a date and a photo - The address is filled in automatically from the location - Choose from 95 pin icons to tell places apart at a glance - Long-press a pin and drag it to move it ORGANIZE WITH GROUPS - Sort places into up to 20 groups and show or hide each group with the buttons on the map - Sort the list by your own order, name, date added, or nearest first SEARCH - Find your saved places and shops or landmarks on the map from one search field - Search again from your recent searches DETAILS AND DIRECTIONS - See the address and coordinates, and show a route on this app's map (driving or walking) - Open a place in Maps, Google Maps or Yahoo! Car Navi - Share a place as text with a Maps link TOOLS - Measure Distance: trace a path on the map - Elevation: your current altitude and the elevation at the map center - Compass - Look Around - Share Map Image: create an image of the map with your pins DATA AND BACKUP - Your data stays on your device. No account or sign-in is required - Export and restore backups - Sync between your own iPhone and iPad through iCloud (only when you turn it on in Settings) - Places, groups and photos from earlier versions carry over as they are EASY TO USE - On iPad, the list and the map sit side by side - Supports Dark Mode, larger text and VoiceOver - 14 languages: Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Dutch, Polish, Turkish and Russian LOCATION AND PRIVACY Your location is used only when you need it, such as showing where you are or getting directions, never just because the app launched. Your places and photos are never sent to the developer. ADS The app is free. To keep it running, it shows an ad at the bottom of the screen. In Settings you can watch a short video to the end and hide ads until midnight. PLEASE NOTE - The elevation at the map center is a reference value from elevation data such as the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) and Terrain Tiles on AWS - Routes, distances and elevations are estimates.
