Your feedback helped shape this release. With version 2.0, we’ve completely rebuilt Nayiriboard to make typing more comfortable, improve responsiveness, and give you more ways to customize your keyboard. 1. More ways to type Armenian Choose from four familiar keyboard layouts to suit the way you type: including Phonetic, Typewriter, Western, and Eastern. 2. Support for Reformed spelling Use spellchecking with Traditional or Reformed orthography, with support for both Eastern and Western Armenian. 3. Larger keys with Compact mode The new Compact layout fits fewer keys in each row, giving you larger touch targets. Prefer punctuation close at hand? Choose Extended mode. 4. Faster, smoother typing We’ve improved keyboard responsiveness and reduced delays for a smoother typing experience. 5. A refreshed interface Enjoy a cleaner, more modern design with easier access to keyboard and spelling settings. 6. Easy cursor control Press and hold the space bar to move the cursor and make precise edits without leaving the keyboard. 7. Armenian diacritics at your fingertips Press and hold a vowel to reveal its available diacritics, then slide to select the one you need. 8. Your choice of typing feedback Turn keyboard sounds and haptic feedback on or off to match your preferences. 9. A new keyboard layout for iPad Enjoy a layout designed for the iPad’s larger screen. 10. Homophonic word suggestions Nayiriboard now suggests words that sound alike, even when the word you typed is spelled correctly. 11. Adjustable row padding Customize the padding on each row to bring keys inward and make them more comfortable to reach. 12. Adjustable control key sizes Make the Shift and Backspace keys wider to help you tap them more easily. 13. Settings right from the keyboard Open Nayiriboard’s settings directly from the keyboard. This feature requires Full Access to be enabled. 14. Bug fixes and performance improvements We’ve fixed bugs and improved stability, performance, and responsiveness across the app and keyboard.
