Phonology: Speech Therapy

Austin Speech Labs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, built Phonology to support speech recovery practice for stroke survivors and other people working on speech and auditory comprehension skills. Created from years of clinical speech therapy experience, Phonology helps users practice listening, matching, producing speech sounds, saying words and phrases, and tracking progress over time. It can be used with a therapist, caregiver, or independently between therapy sessions. Phonology starts with core sound practice and expands into structured modules for words, phrases, numbers, places, auditory memory, saved recordings, custom practice lists, and detailed progress review. A warm practice routine helps you come back each day: a Growth Tree that grows with every session, an optional check-in with guided breathing before practice, and gentle reminders at the times you choose. Profiles, scores, recordings, and transcripts are stored on the device, and check-in answers are never saved.
