What's newin version 20.8.15
:package: What's New in Version 20.8.15
:sparkles: New Features
• Care team conversations — Patients can now message a care team as a group. The
conversation is created from the team itself rather than from a fixed list of people,
so it follows the team as providers are added or removed instead of staying pinned to
whoever was a member the day it started. "Message the whole team" is now offered for
every team the practice defines, including teams that currently have a single member.
• General care team — The practice's catch-all team is now offered to every patient
regardless of their tags, as "Start a conversation" — a direct line to the clinic for
patients whose tags match no specific team. Its members aren't listed individually,
since that list is every provider in the practice.
• Patient details on admin tasks — Task tiles now show the patient's ID alongside their
name, and opening a task shows full name including middle name, patient ID, date of
birth with calculated age, sex, and email. Previously only the patient's first and
last name were available.
:hammer_and_wrench: Improvements
• Redesigned message composer — The message bar in Portal Messenger System now floats
over the conversation on a frosted background, with the text field and the attach,
camera and send controls as separate rounded controls. Messages blur beneath the bar
as they scroll instead of being cut off by a solid toolbar, and the bar keeps clear of
the home indicator on every screen size.
• Care team picker reliability — A failed care-team request is now told apart from a
practice that simply has no teams, so a network error can't cause an unexpected list
of teams to be offered. The patient's primary provider remains available either way.
