What's newin version 3.8.0
**What's New in Swiptv v3.8.0:**
The biggest update since v3: all your playlists together, a much faster app with large catalogs, your own TV guide sources, and an error log to understand what isn't working. Please update Swiptv on all your devices.
- All playlists: a new mode brings your playlists together in the same screens (home, menus, search, TV guide). A tag shows which playlist each item comes from, categories are grouped by playlist, and you choose the order of your playlists with a long press.
- Other sources and grouping: a movie, series or channel available in several playlists offers its other versions with a long press, and "Group Similar Content" now has three choices.
- Favorites: your favorite lists are shared across all your playlists, and you can pin your favorite categories at the top of the menus.
- Menus: "All Categories" opens the wall by category, the entries for all movies, series and channels open the full list, and every row shows how many items it holds. Search also lets you pick the playlist to search in.
- Performance: the catalog is now stored in a database on your device. "All Movies" opens instantly, even with tens of thousands of titles, and scrolling is smoother. Your current catalog is carried over without being downloaded again.
- TV guide: add your own guide sources, turn each one on or off, and choose a channel's guide when the automatic match gets it wrong. Program titles are cleaned up.
- Error log (Settings › Information): every failure is recorded with what happened and its possible causes, and messages finally tell you the real problem instead of a plain "Connection problem". A "Retry" button restarts a failed refresh.
- Player: "Skip Intro", "Skip Recap" and "Next Episode", preferred audio and subtitle languages in order of priority, OpenSubtitles suggestions, a rethought multiview, a redesigned information panel, and on iPhone the next channel slides in under your finger. On Apple TV, holding left or right moves through a movie, an episode or a replay faster and faster.
- Replays: playback continues into the following programs and resumes where you left off.
- Edit info: change a channel's name, logo or guide, or the details page of a movie or series. Your changes follow you on all your devices.
- VPN: one profile per playlist, with connect on open, a VPN button on the playlists screen and an adjustable MTU per profile.
- Playlists: redesigned add and edit screens, and server status in "Playlist Information".
- Parental control: "Reset password" if you forget it.
- Settings: general settings and each playlist's settings are now clearly separated. Your preferences apply to your whole account, player settings to each device, and each playlist has its own "Options" screen. Plus a "Sources" section and a "Theme" setting.
- Data & iCloud: a new screen shows what the app actually keeps, on the device and in iCloud, and lets you act on it: fix data that causes trouble, sync iCloud or start from scratch.
- Details: a movie or series summary opens in full.
- Apple TV: redesigned navigation and walls, sharp background images, a full-screen Top Shelf, 5 channels per row on the home screen and an option to hide the sidebar.
- Arabic and Hebrew: the interface now reads right to left.
- And more than 150 fixes: playback, replays, favorites that disappeared, refreshes, search, Apple TV focus and several crashes.
