Countdown has received a major update, with more ways to personalise your events, improved widgets, and a refreshed experience across iPhone and iPad. More Personalisation • Customise your countdowns with outlined and neon text, additional colour options, photo filters, and gradient backgrounds. • Premium users can choose default styles, colours, and pictures for new events. Improved Event Management • Choose event dates using the calendar picker and set times in different time zones. • Find and select time zones more easily with improved search. • Enjoy improved event editing and a side-by-side event list and detail view on iPad. Widgets • Keep your events close with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. • Improved photo display, countdown formatting, and support for event text colours. Siri, Shortcuts, and Notifications • Use Siri and Shortcuts to find, show, and create countdowns. • Schedule weekly reminders for selected days and a preferred time. iCloud Backups • Automatically back up your events to iCloud. • Browse, search, and restore saved backups, with controls for automatic backups and deleting older copies. • Premium users can also create manual backups and export event data. This application displays a countdown to an event in days, hours, minutes and seconds. On entry of the Event Title, Date & Time the main screen displays the Event Title and a countdown updated every second. A background picture for the Event may be chosen from the device picture roll or added from the Camera. Each event can have it's own Picture.
