What's newin version 3.9
Thanks everyone for downloading Russian Alphabet!
In this update, we've added new ways to learn: an Apple Watch app, Letter of the Day and Daily Streak widgets, and support for iPhone Duo. We also fixed the Home Screen shortcuts.
1. Apple Watch app: Russian Alphabet now fits on your wrist. Flip through flash cards for all 33 letters, from А to Я. Tap a card to see the letter's name, and tap the speaker to hear it. Short on time? Play a quick Sprint or Survival quiz: hear a letter, then pick it from four. Your best scores stay on the watch, and it works even when your iPhone is in another room. Writing stays on the iPhone, because tracing Щ on a watch is a job for very tiny fingers.
2. Letter of the Day: a new letter every day, in alphabet order, right on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or watch face. Tap it to jump straight to that letter. In 33 days, you will have met the whole family, from А to Я.
3. Daily Streak widget: see how many days in a row you've practiced, right on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or in StandBy. It also tells you whether today counts yet, with a friendly nudge when it doesn't. Tap it to start today's letter. Your current streak comes along with the update.
4. Made for iPhone Duo: closed, everything fits the narrow outer screen. Open it, and the alphabet, the Learn cards and your quiz results spread out across the larger inner screen, held upright or turned on its side. Fold or unfold in the middle of a lesson and you stay right where you were.
5. Home Screen shortcuts fixed: touch and hold the app icon and pick Learn, Write, Quiz or Rate App. Before, they all just opened the app (they were shy). Now each one takes you exactly where it says.
