A rebuilt app around the way coaches actually work. NEW PLAY LIBRARY — every play shows a thumbnail of its real formation, routes, and route endings, in a grid you can scan at a glance. Search and filter by offense, defense, or special teams. WRISTBAND & FULL-PAGE PRINTING — print a play as a full-page playsheet, or as eight wristband-size cards per page with cut guides. Clean black and white, built for the team printer: offense in white, defense in gray. REDESIGNED THROUGHOUT — a four-tab layout puts your plays, the editor, sharing, and settings one tap apart. Print lives right in the editor's toolbar. DARK MODE — the whole app, field included. ANNUAL PLAN — Playmaker is now available annually at a saving over monthly. Same features. MORE FORMATIONS — additional 8-player and 11-player offense and defense sets. EASIER EDITING — bigger zoom controls, clearer player markers, route endings you can pick by name, and a tap on the field no longer drops a player where you didn't want one. FIXES — plays built from a formation now place every player correctly; duplicating a play keeps its routes; screen titles render properly. Thanks for coaching with us. Tell us what you'd like next.
Football Playbook Animator is the ultimate tool for designing and visualizing football plays. Whether you're a coach, player, or fan, this app lets you easily create dynamic football strategies with animated players and routes. Use opposing team layouts or focus on a single player. Whether it's traditional 11-on-11, 7-on-7, or just a single route movement — draw up your play and show it, teach it, share it, learn it, live it. Bring plays to life beyond the lines and arrows to really show the nuances of a play. NEW IN THIS VERSION A visual play library. Every play now has a thumbnail showing its real formation, routes, and route endings, so you find the one you want by looking instead of reading a list. Search by name, or filter by offense, defense, and special teams. Wristband and full-page printing. Print a play as a full-page playsheet, or as eight wristband-size cards per page with cut guides — in clean black and white built for the team printer. Dark mode, throughout the app. An annual subscription, alongside monthly — same features, better price. More formations, including additional 8-player and 11-player offense and defense sets. KEY FEATURES Create & customise plays: design offensive or defensive plays with full control over player movement. Real-time animation: watch your play unfold on the field with smooth playback at a speed you set. Interactive editing: drag players, tap to draw routes, adjust formations with direct controls. Route endings: mark blocks, runs and more, so the intent of a play is unmistakable — in the editor, in every export, and in print. Formation library: 11-player, 8-player, and 5-player flag sets for offense and defense. Save & share: export a play as a PDF playbook, a PNG still, an animated GIF, or an MP4 video. Print: a full-page playsheet, or eight wristband-size cards per page with cut guides — in printer-friendly black and white. WHO IT'S FOR Coaches: build playbooks that get your whole team on the same page — and onto their wristbands. Players: see your role in each play and study the concepts behind it. Fans: go deeper into football tactics and how plays are designed. PLAYMAKER SUBSCRIPTION Playmaker unlocks every formation set, sharing and export in all four formats, printing — full pages or wristband cards — route endings, and playback speed control.
