Scripture was never meant to be interpreted alone. Christ taught the Apostles, the Apostles handed that teaching to the Church, and the Fathers carried it forward for centuries. EOTC Bible puts their voices beside every passage, so you're not guessing at the meaning — you're reading with the Church that first received it. What's inside • The Bible in English and Amharic • Commentary from the Church Fathers on the verses you read, from the earliest centuries on • Homilies, chapter summaries and cross-references to see how Scripture explains Scripture • The Church year: feasts, fasts and daily lectionary readings, with reading plans for each fasting season • A Verse of the Day, daily quizzes and reading streaks to build a lasting habit • Read offline, share verses as images, and follow along with home-screen widgets New to the Bible or reading it for years, EOTC Bible helps you understand Scripture as it has been taught from the beginning — one verse closer to Christ.
