Version 3.5.0 • Audiobooks: 15 short stories read aloud — three each in English, Spanish, Croatian, Ukrainian and Russian. Words light up as they are read; tap one to preview it as a card and save it only if you want it. • Listening to audiobooks now earns points. • The map dresses up for the season, starting with Halloween. • VoiceOver: buttons, word lists, exercises and the map are now labelled, so most of the app works with VoiceOver. • Example sentences now use the exact word the card teaches. • The app starts more smoothly.

You add the words you want to know, and it brings each one back just before you would forget it — on day 3, then day 7, then day 14, until the word is yours for good. HOW THE 3-7-14 LADDER WORKS Every word you practise climbs one rung. Day 3 — locks it into short-term memory. Day 7 — reinforces the connection. Day 14 — moves it to your Memorized stack, for good. You never have to decide what to study. The app knows what is due today.
