Version 2.2.0 Some bug fixes before rolling out future expansions. Economy • Wars no longer push the whole economy to permanent high inflation and 20% rates. Foreign wars now matter less than the ones your country fights. • The economy updates once per day (it was running double speed), unemployment settles near a natural rate, and inflation no longer creeps up forever. • Week skips now settle taxes and quarterly decisions exactly like daily play. No more year-end over-taxing. Markets • IPOs: proceeds, share allocation and ownership now add up to 100% for every business type, including deals with outside investors. • The market index no longer jumps when a company lists or delists. • Buybacks and share issues charge exactly the quoted price. • Newly listed companies no longer drop to $0 for a quarter after New Year. • Short sellers now pay dividends, and selling part of a mortgaged property clears the mortgage. • Crypto trades in every account fill at a fair average price, closing several ways to print money by trading back and forth. Businesses • Withdrawals from a company you don't fully own now pay every owner their share. • Bank withdrawals respect depositors and reserves; insurance claims are no longer charged twice, and denying claims now brings lawsuits and lost customers. • Pharma patents are valued sensibly and over-pricing a drug loses sales. • Museum expeditions and auction flipping are no longer free money. • Hedge funds need a $1M seed and refund your share if they wind down. • Equipment resells for what you paid, not more. Casino • Slots, blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold'em now pay out honest odds. Hold'em has a correct hand evaluator and standard payouts. Politics, crime and world • Campaign promises carry into office, debates are scored on the topic shown, and presidential powers are once per quarter. • The fixer needs 30 days between jobs, hitmen must be paid for and add heat, and crew rackets are rebalanced. • Your intelligence agency's treasury counts toward net worth. • Emigration odds only react to wars involving your country.
