What's newin version 2.0.3
A whole new Vip.ly.
NEW LOOK
• A black-and-gold redesign across the app, with easier-to-read text throughout.
• Your VIP cards now show your name, and venues can give their cards an Obsidian, Aurum or Verdant finish.
• Card details show your photo with your QR code, so the door knows it's you.
FOR MEMBERS
• Order a printed VIP card for your wallet.
• Add all your passes to Apple Wallet in one go, styled in black and gold.
• Search your passes and hide expired ones.
• Some passes now need a password from the venue to buy, for presales and private events.
FOR VENUES
• A shared door counter: swipe right for in, left for out, synced live across every staff phone. Tap to set a count, slide and hold to reset.
• The Business tab now shows the right screen for your role at each venue:
– Owners and managers get the dashboard.
– Promoters see their card allowance, tonight's check-ins and their guest list, and can pause or remove guests.
– Door staff get the counter and the guests they've scanned tonight.
• The scan result now shows the guest's photo.
• Set a password on a pass so only people with the code can buy it.
• Restyled analytics, broadcasts, team management and card invitations, including a list of every pending invite.
UNDER THE HOOD
• Promoters and door staff can no longer see a venue's sales or member details.
• The capacity counter can't be screenshotted.
• A smaller download and faster launch.
• Lots of fixes, including the scan camera only running while the Scan tab is open.
