Hi, I'm Michael. I made this app for the people who take pilgrims in: albergues and other lodgings on the Camino. It's free. Three tools for tonight and tomorrow, together or on their own. Use one, two or all three; the ones you don't use, you hide in the app. LIVE BED COUNT: FEWER CALLS ASKING IF THERE'S A BED You mark tonight's beds for each room type: Available, A few left or Full. The pilgrim walking toward you sees it in All Caminos and in the Wise Pilgrim route apps, with your prices, and breakfast or dinner if they're included. If you're full, they know that too, and find a bed somewhere else before they reach your door. • Every night starts from zero. At 10:00, if you haven't set it yet, the app reminds you once. • What you set wins. A pilgrim's report never changes it. • Today at your albergue: share today's offer, event or notice, and reply to the comments pilgrims leave about your albergue. BED REQUESTS: FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW, ON EVERYONE'S WORD The pilgrim asks you for a bed in All Caminos. You answer within 15 or 30 minutes, as you set it: pick the room and confirm it, decline, or offer a different one. The bed is held until your check-in deadline. • Before you confirm, you see whether they show as New, Trusted or Caution, with the stays they kept and their no-shows. • Auto-Accept confirms for you, per room type, anyone above the trust level you set. • Answering late, declining or letting a request expire never counts against you. Keep the beds you confirm and pilgrims see "Keeps its word" next to your name. • Until you confirm, you only see "María G.": no phone, no email. THE GUEST REGISTER: SES.HOSPEDAJES AND SIBA Since December 2024, lodgings in Spain must report their guests' details within 24 hours (Royal Decree 933/2021). Outside the Basque Country, that means SES.HOSPEDAJES, run by the Ministry of the Interior. • The pilgrim shows you their All Caminos QR, or you type the details in. • The app checks them against the Ministry's rules before sending. • You send from your phone, the group together. If something fails, you see which guest and why. • Submission history: cancel, correct and resend. • In Portugal, the register goes to SIBA from the same app, and no copy of your guests' data is kept. YOUR GUESTS' DATA, PROTECTED • Zero knowledge. Wise Pilgrim SL has no access to your credentials or your guests' data. Your credentials stay on your phone. • Records are encrypted on your phone before a copy is saved: AES-256-GCM, with a key derived from your password (PBKDF2, 600,000 iterations). My server only keeps encrypted data I can't decrypt. • Direct connection. Your phone sends the data to the Ministry over HTTPS, without passing through anyone. • Only what the law asks. Not one field more than Royal Decree 933/2021 requires. • Deleted automatically 3 years after the stay, the legal period. • Screens with personal data are protected against screenshots and screen recording. • No ID card or passport is ever photographed or stored as an image.
