GroceryTrack 2.0 is a new app under the hood. We rebuilt GroceryTrack for iPhone from the ground up as a native iOS app. It launches faster, feels lighter, and follows your iPhone's conventions everywhere: the camera, the photo picker, Reminders, Calendar and Face ID are the ones built into iOS. Your receipts, pantry, budget and settings carry over as they are. A scan you queued offline still uploads. What you'll notice • Five tabs: Dashboard, History, Scan, Pantry and Ask. Your profile and settings open from your picture in the corner. • Ask by voice. Tap the mic in the Ask tab and say your question. • Search that knows your stores. Tap the search field in History and your most-visited stores and the items you buy again and again are one tap away. • A consistent look on every screen, in light and dark mode. Sheets, chips, messages and empty states match throughout. • Open a PDF or an image in GroceryTrack straight from Files, Mail or another app. • GroceryTrack now speaks French and Spanish. It follows your iPhone's language, or pick one under Profile › Language. • A new launch animation, with plain fades when Reduce Motion is on. Under the hood • Fewer moving parts: Apple's own frameworks replace the libraries we used before, so the app is smaller and quicker to update. • Receipts you queue while offline are tied to the account that queued them, so a shared iPad can't mix them up. • Exports to CSV are safe to open in a spreadsheet, whatever a store printed. No spreadsheets. SNAP, FORWARD, SHARE, OR OPEN A FILE • Snap a photo of any paper receipt. Our AI reads the items, categorizes them, and totals them in seconds. • Forward digital receipts from your inbox: Instacart, DoorDash, Walmart, Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, Uber Eats, Costco, Target, or anywhere that emails you a receipt. • Share a PDF, an image, or a link to an online receipt from Mail, Files, Messages, or Safari, or open a file in GroceryTrack straight from Files. • Check it right after scanning: fix the store, date, total, or any line, and see the tax the receipt printed. • Added a receipt twice? It is flagged as a possible duplicate: keep both or delete the extra. KNOW WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES • Your month's grocery total sits at the top. Restaurant receipts, non-grocery purchases, bag fees, and deposits are left out, so the number is honest. • A 7-day chart splits each day into grocery and restaurant spend. • Thirteen clear categories, each with its own icon and a plain rule: Produce, Meat & Seafood, Dairy & Eggs, Deli & Prepared, Bakery, Frozen, Pantry, Snacks, Beverages, Household & Personal Care, Pet, and more. See dollar amounts and percentages side by side. • Recategorize any item in one tap. Your choice always wins. • Search your history by store or staple item: tap the search field and they are one tap away. ASK YOUR RECEIPTS • "What do I buy most often?" "When was my last trip to Whole Foods?" "How much did I spend on groceries last month?" The Ask tab answers in plain language, from your own receipts. • Ask by voice: tap the mic and say your question. A PANTRY THAT RUNS ITSELF • Every grocery item you scan lands in a live pantry with a freshness estimate that knows fridge from freezer. • Set your own best-by dates, count down multi-packs ("2 of 6 left"), and portion-track single items so nothing quietly expires in the back. • A "needs attention" section surfaces what to use soon. One tap turns what's running low into a shopping list, and AI suggests recipes from what you already have. • Choose how far back your pantry looks, from one week to forever. A BUDGET THAT FITS YOUR LIFE • A 7-question setup builds a personal monthly target from your household, cooking habits, stores, diet, food waste, and deliveries. • Adjust your budget anytime with a slider in your profile. • Restaurant spending is tracked separately so it doesn't blow up your grocery goal. WORKS WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY USE • Send your shopping list to Apple Reminders, and block out your grocery day in Calendar. • A Home Screen widget shows your month-to-date grocery total. • Optional weekly and monthly summaries as notifications. • Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client to your grocery data.
