FarmScout gathers dated inventory and event updates from farmers and local sources into one map, nationwide - near you or wherever you are headed. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Farm information is scattered across websites, flyers and social posts, and most of it is out of date. FarmScout allows you to search for any type of food or event. It puts dated inventory and event updates in one place and stamps each one with the date it was observed, so you can see how fresh it is. Products sell out, weather closes picking fields, hours shift. Check the date, then confirm with the farm. SEARCH BY PLACE, PRODUCT OR EXPERIENCE Produce, seafood, meat, eggs, dairy, honey, flowers, pumpkins, apples, citrus, strawberries, Christmas trees, cider, wine, beer and spirits. Or plan a day: u-pick, tastings, tours, live music, festivals, farm dinners, camping, glamping and farm stays. Search for regenerative, organic, veteran-owned farms. Results sort by distance from where you are or from any town or ZIP you choose. USDA Organic and Veteran Farmer attributes are searchable. A MOTHER-AND-SON STORY FarmScout was built by a Long Island mom and her son, who wrote the first prototype at eleven. They wanted to support local farms, found the information scattered everywhere, and watched familiar fields turn into housing. This is their answer: an easier way to find local agriculture, and a free way for farms to find more customers. FREE TO USE FarmScout is currently free to use. Optional membership plans with enhanced features will be offered in the app in the future.
