While AO3 is down, the app now remembers which archived copy of a fanfic you were reading. When you open it again, you'll return to the same version and can continue where you left off. Archived copies aren't saved to your phone automatically. You need to tap Download to save them, and the app will remind you about this once. Waiting for a copy to load? Tap "I'm bored, play" and help the kudos heart jump over ratings and tags. You can now enter full-screen mode by tapping the center of the screen. Tapping a saved word now shows only the meaning you saved. Plus, we've made the outage screens clearer and fixed a few bugs.
You're three chapters deep into a fic you can't put down. Suddenly, there's a word you don't know. No need to leave the story — just tap to translate, save it with context, and keep reading. READ FANFICTION. LEARN LANGUAGES. Turn the stories you love into a way to learn languages. Read fanfiction, translate unfamiliar words, and build your own vocabulary without leaving the story. What stays in your vocabulary isn't just a word — it's a scene. Open the card a week later and you'll remember which fic it was from, who said it, and to whom. LEARN IN 40+ LANGUAGES Read fanfiction in your favorite language and translate unfamiliar words into your own. Choose from over 40 translation languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, and many more. The app interface is available in 8 languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, and Belarusian. PRACTICE WITH GAMES AND QUIZZES Save words and phrases of up to 10 words, then practice them with flashcards, quizzes, Fillword, and context-based exercises. Spaced repetition brings words back for review when you're likely to forget them. No deadline calendar to chase. YOUR FANFICS. ALL IN ONE PLACE. Save your favorite fanfics to your personal library, organize them into folders, and pick up right where you left off. Save your favorite lines separately, too. Some quotes are worth keeping. YOUR READING OBSESSION DESERVES A REWARD. Track how much you've read, how many words you've learned, and how many fanfics you've explored. Unlock achievements as you read. All those hours of fanfiction finally pay off. LEARN EVEN WITHOUT WI-FI Your saved fanfics and vocabulary stay available offline. The app also includes built-in dictionaries for supported languages, so you can keep learning without an internet connection. MADE FOR READERS Tap "running" and save "run". Tap "ran" and it's the same word. No pile of duplicate cards for one verb. Saved words are underlined in the text. Green for the ones you've learned, red for the ones you're still studying. No cloud. No account. No subscription. Everything you save lives on your device. This app is not affiliated with Archive of Our Own (AO3) or the Organization for Transformative Works.
