With a brand new way to plan a screening, a fresh look throughout, and Slate on iPhone Duo. - A new Planner: Build your screening step by step: pick the film, choose where you're watching, its format, set when, then review. Same ticket, same calendar event, a much clearer way to get there. - Pick your cinema: Search for the cinema right in the Planner and it's added to your calendar event with the address, ready for Maps. - Intermission: Add a 15-minute break to a screening and the timer counts it in, pauses at the right moment, and shows you the interval. - Pause and pick it back up late: Stop partway through a film, save your place, and plan when to watch the rest. Watch it across two sittings and you still get one stub, once you've finished. - Suggest times with Apple Intelligence: Let Slate look at your calendar and suggest when to watch, or just type what you're after. Set your earliest start and latest finish in Settings. Available on devices that support Apple Intelligence. - Mark it as booked: Once you've bought your tickets, mark the film in Upcoming so you can see at a glance what's sorted. - iPhone Duo support: Slate is designed for both the outer and inner displays. - Landscape support: Slate now has a landscape mode for those jealous of the Duo - Wallet: Now has a collapsible side menu which shows your notes, film format and when you saw the film. - A new look: A refreshed visual style across the app and widgets, following your Light, Dark or System setting. Improved: - Programmer lists your films shortest first, so what fits your evening is right at the top. Fixes: - Pausing a film for a while and resuming now extends your finish time, and the app, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island all stay in step.
