Ahead 2.0 is a new app, and a smaller one. • Free. Ahead Plus is gone, and so is the paywall. Everything is included. • On your iPhone. Your day is written on the phone by Apple Intelligence instead of being sent to a server. There is no server anymore. No account, no sign-in, nothing uploaded. The one thing that leaves your phone is your location, to Apple, for the weather. • Three check-ins. Morning, midday and evening, each one reading your calendar, reminders and how you slept, and putting what matters at the top. • Coming up, ranked. Swipe right for more of this, left for less. Tap a card to see why it's there. • Get ahead of it. Thanksgiving, a wedding, a trip: last year's to-dos come back as reminders, dated the same distance before. • What to wear is back on the morning check-in. • Faster. Seconds instead of a wait, and it works on a plane. • Siri. "Ahead, what's my day look like" and "Ahead, what's coming up." On iOS 27, Ahead can put your day together in the background. • Approximate location by default. Ahead only needs your area for the weather. • A new welcome, a new icon, and a lot of small things fixed, from a flickering shadow to a clipped day name to a keyboard that wouldn't go away. If you were paying for Ahead Plus: thank you. Everything it unlocked is now free for everyone, so you can cancel it in Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions, and nothing changes. What matters, three times a day. Ahead reads your calendar, your reminders and how you slept, and puts your day together on your iPhone. Morning, midday and evening. Free, with no account, and nothing leaves your phone. THREE CHECK-INS The 8 AM you and the 8 PM you need different things. Ahead checks in at 7, 11 and 4. Each one reads what's coming and how you slept, then says what matters now in a sentence or two, written on your phone by Apple Intelligence. The next thing coming up, what to wear, the nudge on your Lock Screen. COMING UP, RANKED What's next, in the order that matters to you. Swipe a card right and more of that comes first. Swipe left and less of it does. Tap it to see why it's there. Ahead learns who and what comes first for you, and keeps all of it on your phone. GET AHEAD OF IT Thanksgiving, a wedding, a trip. When one is close enough to plan for, Ahead brings back what you did around it last year and offers it as reminders, dated the same distance before. Nothing invented. With no history, it just asks when to remind you. CHECKLISTS AND TRACKERS Countdowns, checklists and notes that ride along with your day. ASK SIRI "Ahead, what's my day look like" reads your day. "Ahead, what's coming up" reads what's next. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR IPHONE No account to make. No servers to trust. Your calendar, reminders and health are read on the phone and never uploaded. The one exception is your location, sent to Apple once, for the weather. FREE Ahead Plus is gone. I'm one person building this for the love of it, and I'd rather it be in as many hands as possible. WHY I MADE IT Your calendar, your reminders and your health deserve one surface, and you should be able to shape that surface to fit your life. Apple built a good calendar. Ahead takes it and extends it the way I'd want it extended. Good design is figuring out what needs to be removed, so 2.0 is smaller than what came before, and better for it. Ahead works with Calendar, Reminders, Health and Weather on iPhone, and needs iOS 26 or later. Apple Intelligence writes your day where it's available; everywhere else Ahead builds it from the facts.
