Optimized for iPhone Duo: fold, unfold, rotate or resize, and the reader keeps your place, with the text centred at the new width. Chapter progress now counts the chapters you've read, so jumping ahead from Contents or search no longer marks skipped chapters as read. A note or highlight that a guide update moved can be kept or moved to the right text. Reflow keeps table headings inside their tables, Contents finds more entries in TXT guides and keeps their own numbers, and wide tables in HTML guides open full screen. Plus easier tapping, steadier jumps and VoiceOver fixes.
Retro Game Guides turns old-school walkthroughs into a clean, searchable, offline library built for iPhone. Import the guides you already trust, save supported online guides, or follow an included Standard Edition which is a clear, carefully researched walkthrough from start to finish. Desktop-era guides become comfortable to read without losing the maps, tables, and carefully spaced layouts that make them useful. Retro Game Guides remembers your place, builds clickable Contents, lets you bookmark places you want to revisit, and adds search, highlights, and notes. BUILT FOR OLD-SCHOOL WALKTHROUGHS - Reflow hard-wrapped prose for comfortable phone reading. - Preserve recognized maps, tables, and fixed-width layouts. - Choose Reflow, Original, or No wrap for every guide. - Adjust text size; choose Day or Night ops for the app in Settings. - Keep each guide’s layout and reading position. FIND THE RIGHT PART FAST - Open Contents for sections built from the guide’s structure. - Search this guide, the game’s other guides, or all games with passage context. - Bookmark places you want to revisit, with an automatic heading and useful excerpt. - Collect highlights, notes, and bookmarks in the Notes tab. - Resume the reading position saved for every guide. BRING ONE GUIDE OR A WHOLE COLLECTION Import one or more TXT files from Files, preview a folder before import, skip duplicates, and see which items need review. Add PDFs too, such as a game's original manual: they read as their printed pages, with Contents, a page grid, and search when the PDF has text. Supported online guide pages can also be saved for personal offline reading, with formatted guides keeping their chapters, tables and images. Multiple walkthroughs, FAQs, maps, and notes stay organized under the game they belong to. INCLUDED STANDARD EDITIONS Twenty-three classic games currently include an original Standard Edition. Each carefully researched route states the platform and scope it supports, places consequential warnings before the closing action, and uses the same offline reader, Contents, search, and saved position as every other guide. No separate guide purchase is required. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No analytics or tracking. Your guide library, reading progress, highlights, notes, favorites, and bookmarks stay on your device. Finding new guides, loading cover art, and making or restoring a purchase use the network when needed. FREE TO START Keep up to three games in your library, with unlimited guides in each. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited games and larger batch imports. There is no subscription, and Standard Editions do not require a separate guide purchase.
