For the patients who keep you on your toes.
OpenVet brings clinical questions, patient records, and veterinary drug reference into one workspace for veterinarians and veterinary students.
WORK THROUGH THE CASE
Ask about differentials, diagnostic workups, and treatment considerations. Review the answer and inspect the references provided before deciding what comes next.
BRING THEIR HISTORY WITH YOU
Link a patient to a case so their weight, medications, allergies, diagnoses, and recorded lab results can inform the discussion. Keep supported PDFs and images with the chart, including the original documents.
KEEP YOUR FORMULARY CLOSE
Look up drug monographs, review interaction warnings, and use weight-based dose tools with displayed reference ranges. Check the primary source before prescribing or administering any medication.
MAKE ROOM FOR URGENT QUESTIONS
Open the Emergency & Critical Care room for triage, stabilization, and toxicology questions. A CPR metronome provides a pacing tool.
SAY THE QUESTION
Dictate into the question box, review the transcription, and send when you’re ready.
WHO IT’S FOR
Accounts are available to licensed veterinarians and veterinary students. US veterinarians provide a state license number. Students and internationally licensed veterinarians can begin while credentials are reviewed. Veterinary technicians and other non-DVM staff cannot create accounts yet.
OpenVet provides AI clinical decision support. It can make mistakes and does not replace professional judgment. Verify clinical information, doses, and species-specific guidance against primary sources before acting. Dose calculations are not prescriptions.
