Moment: Urge & Habit Control

Own the Moment is designed to help people regain control when compulsive behavior is most likely to take over. Starting with adult content, Moment gives users private, shame-free support for the moment the urge hits, not a lecture the morning after. Most tools work before the moment (blockers, filters, advice) or after it (streak resets, guilt). Moment is built for the moment itself: the 2am pull, when willpower is at its weakest and the old pattern feels automatic. THE MOMENT IS WHERE THE OUTCOME CHANGES When an urge starts, open Moment. In under a minute, you're guided through a private check-in built to create space between impulse and action: - Notice the moment: catch the pull before it narrows your judgment - Pause the pattern: a short, private intervention instead of autopilot - Choose your next move: a concrete action that creates distance from the urge - Learn your pattern: understand the triggers, times, and states that pull you off course A slip isn't the end of anything. It's information. Your progress doesn't reset to zero, and neither do you. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Privacy isn't a feature here, it's the condition for trust. - Anonymous by default. No public profile, no recovery label. - On your home screen, the app is just "Moment." Nothing announces what you're working on. - Notifications are written to be read on a lock screen without explaining anything to anyone. - Your progress stays private. BUILT WITHOUT SHAME Shame is fuel for the loop, not the exit. Moment never resets your worth to zero, and never treats a hard night as a verdict on who you are. Direct, honest, and on your side. WHAT MOMENT IS NOT Own the Moment is not emergency care, medical advice, or a substitute for professional treatment. Moment does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and does not promise recovery. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, contact local emergency services.
