Back up your stages: sign in with Apple, Google or email, and they come back on a new phone. Settings has a new Account section to sign out or delete your account. You can also turn usage data off. At the start of each stage, a short reminder to keep to the speed limits and traffic law. Roundabout calls sound smoother: the co-driver says each one in one go. CarPlay: when the car screen connects after you start a drive, the map follows the car at once. After a drive, you can report a wrong call. Long stages show their real elevation, not a flat line. Starting a stage at its finish line no longer ends the drive at once: the screen shows how far away the start is. Fixed a crash when building a stage on the map.
Tornante is a rally co-driver for the open road. Pick a mountain road or draw a route, and Tornante reads the road's real geometry and elevation to generate professional-style pacenotes, then calls them aloud, timed to your speed, as you approach each corner. "150, left 4 and hairpin right." Built for enthusiast drivers who love a great road. Tornante is audio-first: it doesn't control your car and never asks you to look at the screen, with a clean, glanceable heads-up display if you want one. NOW WITH CARPLAY Your saved stages appear on the car screen. The next corner, its severity and the distance to it sit on the map, and the map turns with the car. CIRCUIT MODE (BETA) Six circuits are built in: Mugello, Monza, Imola, Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburgring GP and the Nordschleife. The same co-driver, the same calls, with a clock behind them. Press START once and the lap timer arms itself the first time you cross the start/finish line, and every crossing after that ends a lap and starts the next. Sector splits go to the run log instead of into your eyeline mid-corner, your best lap on each circuit stays on the phone, and the co-driver reads your lap time aloud as you cross the line. The Nordschleife is the exception: calls only, no timer. "San Donato, right 4 long." Built for a track day and read to a tenth of a second, not official timing. Lap timer only on a circuit closed to public traffic, where the organiser allows timing. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • Real road geometry, not a simplified map line, so tight corners and hairpins are not dropped or softened. • Deterministic and editable. The same road always produces the same notes. In the pacenote editor you can change any call, merge or split calls, and add a corner or a warning the map missed. • A real human co-driver voice, not a robotic readout. • Twenty-two languages, with the app language and the co-driver voice set separately. FEATURES • Automatic pacenotes for any road or route • Corner grading 1 to 6, plus hairpins, open hairpins, squares and roundabouts • Speed-aware call timing. Close corners come as one call, "left 4 into right 3", and the next call waits until you turn in • Full-screen rally HUD with severity glyphs • Import GPX routes, or pick start, finish and waypoints on the map • PREVIEW, so you can hear a whole stage at your desk before you drive • Weather for the next 12 hours at the start and the summit of the stage • Music dips only while a call is spoken • Works fully offline while you drive LANGUAGES Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Slovenian, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese. Co-driver voices download on demand; languages without their own voice yet speak English. PRIVACY Account optional, no ads, no tracking. Building a stage sends the points you tap to the routing and elevation services so the route can be computed. While you drive, everything runs on your phone. SAFETY Tornante is a driving aid for preparation and enjoyment. It is not a safety device, not a navigation system, and not a substitute for your own attention and judgment. Calls are computer-generated estimates and can be wrong, late, or missing. Always drive within your own limits, the law, and the actual road conditions; keep your eyes on the road; and never operate the phone while driving. Not for racing or timing on public roads. It does not warn of crests, dips or anything the map does not show. Roads, read aloud. Enjoy the drive.
