MADE FOR BOTH SCREENS OF IPHONE DUO Kept now uses both screens of iPhone Duo. Unfold it and the page you were on stays put while the next one opens beside it: Calendar keeps your day on the right and opens the month on the left, Tasks and Goals keep your list beside the one you opened, and Notes reads as two pages. Page actions sit in the column on the right, so the top stays clear, and Search opens with the field on one page and results on the other. Half open, the fold stays clear. Upright, Kept looks the way it does on iPhone. Closed, nothing sits under the system's own controls. TODAY ON IPHONE DUO Open it and Today puts your day and its timeline beside your Top 3. Suggested times fit around your events without overlapping, leave room to breathe, and wait for your OK, with Undo. Calendar's view menu sits at the top of the page, and Calendars has a plus so you can add one. CAPTURE SHOWS WHAT IT READ "Dentist tomorrow 17:30" shows as Dentist, tomorrow at 5:30 PM before you save, so you can check it first. A time range like 12:30 to 1:30 keeps both ends. Switch a capture to Note and every word comes with you, and extra lines go into the description just as you typed them. COMING BACK TO TODAY Before your first capture, Today offers Write a note and Add a task side by side, and your daily note is ready to type into. Something you captured today fills an empty Top 3 seat. Finish your three and Today says so, with one next step. Notifications is now on the first screen of Settings, with a link to your email preferences. A TODAY THAT STAYS PUT Capturing more tasks no longer reshuffles the three cards on screen. Goals now live in Goals, and a task that came from a goal shows on Today like any other task. NOTES YOU CAN SEARCH AND KEEP WRITING IN Search finds any word in a note and in its subpages, and a result opens the note you picked. Tap the blank page below the last block to keep writing, and Indent shows on the keyboard bar. Your formatting, links and place in a note stay as you left them. Delete a page with subpages and Kept asks first, the subpages become top-level pages, and Undo brings them back. KEPT EDITS YOUR NOTES, NOT AROUND THEM When Kept files something into a note overnight, it now edits the note directly instead of adding its own lines. More, then Changes by Kept, lists each change with Undo. GOALS YOU CAN KEEP UP WITH Log progress, edit a goal or archive it from its page, and bring it back from Archived. Every goal row shows the same progress line. "By the end of next year" means the last day of next year. YOUR HABITS, COUNTED RIGHT Archive a habit by mistake and Undo brings it back, or restore it later from Habits. Each check-in counts once in your weekly record. Weekday habits say "not today" on weekends, and habit names show exactly as you wrote them. SAVING YOUR TOP 3 After you ask Kept to rethink your day, Save Top 3 keeps the new plan. If your day changed while Kept was thinking, Ask again is one tap, and you can cancel while you wait. Tap a task's time estimate to change it, and Pick a time keeps the minute you choose. EVENTS KEEP THEIR LENGTH Move an event's start and its end moves with it. Editing just the title leaves the times alone, including all-day, overnight and multi-day events. Calendar opens near the time that matters. WIDGETS AND REMINDERS IN YOUR WORDS Widgets and reminder banners show your titles exactly as you wrote them. Renaming a task updates its reminder, and reminders offer quick choices like In an hour and Tomorrow morning. Tap the Tasks widget to open Tasks, and the Focus timer on your Lock Screen has clear contrast in light and dark. EASIER AT LARGE TEXT SIZES At the largest text sizes, Settings switches and choices take the full width, and Ask Kept's field shows what you typed, even in a long draft.
Turn ideas into action. You know what matters to you. Finding room for it on a Tuesday is the harder part. Kept helps you follow through. JUST SAY IT Write one line and Kept files it as a task, an event or a note. If it guesses wrong, your pick wins. THREE THINGS FIRST Today opens with your Top 3 priorities. Kept reads your goals and your real calendar and floats the few that matter to the top, with quick wins, your calendar, asks and habits underneath. You still decide. Hide Top 3, quick wins or habits for today or every day, with Undo. GIVE IT A TIME Tap a priority for today's plan and the next step, and start a Focus timer from there. The time is the button. Tap it to put the priority on your calendar, drag in 15-minute steps, and see a clash before you commit. It works with the Kept calendar, Google Calendar and, with full access, Apple Calendar. If the day changes, move it to 6pm tonight, with Undo. START WITH WHO Kept opens with a question: who are you becoming? The goals and small daily steps that follow point back to your answer. SAY THE GOAL, GET THE FIRST STEP Tell Goal Builder what you want in your own words, or start from an area. Answer up to three quick questions and tap Keep this goal. Kept sets up the tracker, the first step and a weekly check-in. Close it halfway through and your draft waits for you. AFTER YOUR COFFEE Tie a habit to something you already do. "After my coffee" works. So does "After the school run". COUNT WHAT YOU KEPT Each small thing you keep goes on the record, a vote for the person you said you'd become. It's proof to look back on when the day is hard. A missed day doesn't need a lecture. NOTES CLOSE BY Your day's note sits right on Today. Templates fill the note you're in, the outline jumps to any heading, and there's a word count. IPHONE AND MAC One account on both, in sync. Get Kept for Mac at kept.do. BEHAVIOR SCIENCE, HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS Kept draws on well-studied findings: if-then plans, cue-driven habits, identity-based motivation and specific goals. Studies describe averages. They can't promise results for one person, so Kept doesn't either. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your capture text stays yours.
