Cinereel is a fast, native player for the media server you already run. It connects straight to your own Plex Media Server or Jellyfin server — there is nothing in between, no account of ours to create, and no library of ours to sign into. DESCRIBE WHAT YOU WANT TO WATCH Search by title, or just describe it: "something funny from the 30s", "90s crime movie under two hours", "cartoons for the kids". Cinereel reads the decade, the length, movie or show and kid-friendliness out of what you type, turns everyday words into genres, and looks through synopses, cast and directors. A line under the search field shows what it understood. With Cinereel Pro on a device with Apple Intelligence, Ask Your Library understands looser requests too — understood on your device; searches go only to your own server. Sign in with your Plex account (Cinereel Pro), with your Jellyfin username and password or Quick Connect, or enter a server address and token.
