NEW: Name the drones you recognize If you see a drone at a job site and you know whose it is, you can now give it a name. Long-press the drone and enter the pilot's name, a short name for the map, and any notes you want to keep. You can also mark a drone as being on your team, or flag one as a hazard if the pilot flies carelessly or is simply working the same airspace as you. Team drones show a green ring on the map, flagged drones a red ring, so you can tell at a glance who is who. Names are kept with the drone's Remote ID, so they come back the next time that drone is in the air, and they are included in your backup. Traffic alerts are not affected by any of this: the app still decides what is actually a hazard from distance and closing speed, not from a label. DEVICE LIMIT REMOVED Your license is no longer limited to a set number of phones or tablets. Use it on as many of your own devices as you like. WEATHER ALERTS Fixed a problem where a stalled weather request could silently switch off radar and lightning alerts for the rest of a session, with nothing on screen to say so. Weather requests now time out and recover instead. RECEIVER UPDATES - Fixed updates failing when your device and receiver were both connected to a phone's hotspot. Requests to the receiver were being refused before they were ever sent. Hotspots now work the same as any other WiFi. - The app no longer offers a firmware update when you are connected straight to the receiver's own WiFi. That connection has no internet, so the update cannot be downloaded. It is offered again as soon as you are on a network with internet. - Fixed an interrupted download of the FAA obstacle data leaving the app showing progress that never finished. As always, thank you to the pilots sending reports and logs. The hotspot and weather fixes in this release both came from them.
