Polish Gun Licence Exam

The firearms licence exam and the PZSS shooting patent exam leave little room for guessing. This app prepares for both: the official questions with answers worked out from the law, a textbook, a timed mock exam and a review of your mistakes. A Polish firearms licence is issued by the voivodeship police commander, usually after an exam in front of a commission. The sport route goes through the shooting patent: a PZSS member with the patent and a competitor licence is exempt from the police exam for sport firearms. Two exams in one app A switch on the home screen changes the exam. Questions, textbook, tests, mistakes, question of the day and statistics are kept separately for each exam. Firearms licence exam (WPA tests) A full timed mock exam, run like the one in front of the commission: 20 questions, 30 minutes, 18 correct answers to pass. The first four questions, on the act and safety, must all be right. For the licence: every section plus the whole procedure, from the application and medical certificates to buying and registering a firearm. For the patent: the act, range rules and firing line commands, ISSF events, firearm and ammunition construction, criminal law and the sport route to a firearms licence. Listening The firearms licence textbook can be listened to, read aloud in Polish, also with the screen locked. Speed from 0.8× to 2×, and the app remembers where you stopped. With every question The correct answer, a plain explanation and the provision it comes from, so every answer can be checked at the source. Answers can be checked after each question or only at the end of the test, the way the exam runs. Mistakes, question of the day and statistics Questions answered wrong come back until the answer is right. One question a day keeps the review regular, and the statistics show the score in each section and what still needs work. Where the questions come from For the licence: the official police exam question set, published by the voivodeship police headquarters. For the patent: the question set published by the Polish Shooting Sport Association (PZSS). The police publish no answer key, and PZSS publishes the questions without answer options, so the answers and explanations were worked out from the provision named at each question. The app is a study aid and is not affiliated with the police, PZSS or any government body. It is not for selling firearms or ammunition and carries no instructions for making them.
