Fixes and improvements in this update: • You stay signed in. Fixed a problem that could sign you out after CoDriver was closed in the background. • CoDriver keeps trying when the connection drops, instead of sending you back to the sign-in screen. • If CoDriver closes during a drive, the next time you open it you can send us that drive's logs, so we can find out what went wrong. • Your sign-in is now tied to your iPhone, so it can't be reused anywhere else.
CoDriver keeps a convoy of friends together: an open voice channel, every car on one live map and one shared route, on iPhone and CarPlay. Open Voice: Talk to everyone in the convoy without pressing anything. CoDriver sends only when you speak, a ring shows who is talking, and your music keeps playing underneath. Turn anyone up or down, or switch to listen only. One Live Map: Every car on the same map, updated every second. A car that loses signal dims where it was last seen. With a route set, you can see who is in front and how far back you are. One Route for Everyone: The lead picks the destination and every car gets the same turns and stops. If the lead changes the route, every car gets the change. Directions keep coming when the signal drops. Meet in the Middle: Find the fairest place for the convoy to meet, whether a car park, a fuel stop or a café, chosen by real driving times between everyone or within an area you pick. Everyone answers Go or Not now, on the phone or in CarPlay. Places and Routes: Save places, draw your own route, and share a pin or a route with the convoy. CarPlay: The map, your route, the next turn and your speed on the car's screen, with a mute button. Every voice plays through the car's speakers, and convoy invites and Meet in the middle proposals can be answered from the dash. Drive History: Every drive is saved as a card with each car's trail, distance and time, to look back on or share with a friend. Your Account, Your Control: Sign in with email and password, with optional emailed sign-in codes. One tap takes your car off the map. Block or report anyone, and delete your account and its data from inside the app. Every car needs CoDriver on an iPhone with iOS 18 or later. CoDriver is for drivers and passengers aged 18 and over. Set up your route and convoy before you drive, and let a passenger handle the phone on the move.
