Lock Screen widget: long verses now show a complete short line instead of a sentence cut off with three dots, and the rotation only uses lines that fit whole. New switch under Lock Screen widgets: Show reference. Clearer widget names: Lock Screen verse, Daily verse, Custom verse. Small fixes.
A new Bible verse on your lock screen every morning. Prayers, Christian quotes and encouragement on your home screen, so God's word is the first thing you see. You pick up your phone dozens of times a day. Steeple turns those moments into a short pause with scripture: a verse on the lock screen, a prayer in a widget, a quote that fits what you are going through. WHAT YOU GET • Lock screen and home screen widgets in several sizes and styles, with a fresh verse, prayer or quote each day. • A calm feed of Bible verses, prayers, Christian quotes and affirmations, one card at a time. Save favorites, build collections, and share any card as an image. • Topics for the moment you are in: faith, hope, healing, grief, gratitude, inner peace, self worth, letting go and more. • Themes for every card, plus a theme editor to use your own photo, fonts and colors. • Reminders at the times you choose, so a verse arrives before the day gets loud. • A streak that keeps the habit going. • Prayer chat: ask about a passage, a worry or a decision and get a reply grounded in scripture, with the verses it draws on. Replies are written by AI and can be imperfect. • A daily Bible quiz. MADE FOR Anyone who wants scripture in their day without another app to open: busy parents, students, people new to faith, and anyone who finds the full Bible hard to start. FREE AND PREMIUM Free: the feed with a daily limit, the core topics, 15 themes, one reminder, one custom widget, one collection, and a taste of Prayer chat and the quiz. Steeple Premium unlocks every topic, theme, mix and font, unlimited reminders and widgets, premium voices that read cards aloud, more chat, unlimited quizzes, and backup and sync across devices. Steeple Premium is $59.99 a year or $14.99 a month. Both plans start with a 3 day free trial. Turn on the trial reminder and we tell you 24 hours before it ends. Your plan renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in Settings. No weekly plans. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account needed. Signed out, your favorites, collections, settings and streak stay on your iPhone. Sign in with Apple or Google is optional; with Premium it backs up your data so it follows you to a new phone. Prayer chat and premium voices send your text to our server and to OpenAI to write or read a reply. We do not keep your chat messages. Steeple uses Google Firebase for usage statistics and crash reports, RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, and Adjust and Meta to measure our own ads. No ads in the app. We measure our own advertising with Adjust, Meta and TikTok, and your advertising identifier is read only if you allow tracking. Steeple never sells your information. You can delete your account and everything synced with it from inside the app. Scripture is from the World English Bible, a modern English translation in the public domain.
