Know where the next rest area is before you need it. Next Rest Stop helps you find state-published interstate rest areas ahead, see how far away they are, and plan stops before you travel. With Apple CarPlay, open Next Rest Stop on a compatible vehicle display to see the next rest area and its distance without searching through maps or unrelated businesses. REST STOPS AHEAD Use your location to identify upcoming traveler facilities on your current highway and direction. See road-based distance where routing is available, plus a notice when there may be a long gap after the next stop. PLAN A TRIP Enter a starting point and destination to view rest areas along a selected route. Trip planning and browsing remain available without location access. REST AREA DETAILS View highway and direction, mile markers where published, status information where available, and listed amenities such as restrooms, vending, pet areas, picnic areas, and truck parking. COMMUNITY UPDATES Travelers can contribute structured observations about current conditions and suggest missing information. Community information is clearly labeled and kept separate from official facility information. OFFICIAL SOURCES Permanent facility information is compiled primarily from official state transportation and government sources where available. Coverage and published details vary by state, and official sources may not reflect temporary conditions immediately.
