Recordings keep going. Some phones stopped a recording right after Record was tapped with a message about the phone turning, even when it had not moved. That no longer happens. Every screen now fits with Display Zoom and the largest text sizes. On zoomed-in iPhones the scan screen's buttons no longer run off the edges. Making a clip from a recording plays one sound again. The recording kept playing under the clip editor and the sound doubled up like an echo.
This app needs the LiDAR scanner built into iPhone Pro and iPad Pro models. Your iPhone's LiDAR scanner fires a grid of infrared laser dots and times how long each one takes to come back. Spirit Detector draws every one of those measurements where it was taken, so sweeping a dark room builds the room out of light. Walk around and the picture fills in. Walls, furniture, doorways and anything standing in the room arrive as points in mid-air, coloured by how far away they are. Near is warm, far is cold. Nothing is guessed and nothing is drawn from the camera picture: every dot is a distance the scanner actually measured. WHAT YOU CAN DO Sweep a room and watch it build, live, at sixty frames a second. Switch between a drifting sheet of dots and the room as a wire model. Colour by distance with three looks. Freeze the map and walk around what you have captured. Take stills and record video straight to the in-app Library. Save anything to Photos or share it anywhere. REQUIRES A LiDAR SCANNER This app needs the LiDAR scanner built into iPhone Pro and iPad Pro models. There is no software substitute for the sensor, so on other devices it will tell you so and do nothing else. Check your model before buying. FREE FOR 48 HOURS The whole app is free for 48 hours from your first scan. After that, one payment of $4.99 keeps it for good. No subscription, no advertising, and nothing charged again. Nothing here detects, measures or infers anything paranormal, and it does not claim to.
