Official app for the IASIA 2026 Conference
The IASIA 2026 Conference will be held in Athens, Greece, from 12 to 16 October 2026. The Annual Conference of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration will be organized in close collaboration with the National Centre of Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA) of Greece.
The IASIA 2026 Conference plenary sessions and panels will be structured around the focus theme: "Rethinking Governance for a Changing World." The conference will bring together scholars, practitioners, and students from around the world. The program will include plenary sessions addressing key issues in contemporary public governance, thematic panels and forums, sessions led by IASIA's Working Groups, and a dedicated PhD seminar.
Governance is essential for societal stability, economic development, and effective public administration. The 2026 IASIA Conference recognizes that in an increasingly complex and interconnected world - marked by digital transformation, climate pressures, and shifting public expectations, traditional governance models must evolve to remain effective, legitimate, and responsive.
The conference calls for strengthening administrative capacity, professionalization, and leadership, while rethinking how public administration is taught through more innovative, practice-oriented, and digitally integrated approaches. This year's conference also marks the celebration of IASIA's 65th anniversary.
