At the end of a week, or a month, it’s easy to forget how your mood actually moved. What stays is often just a vague feeling: frozen, or simply tired. Feelings Wheel helps you put a name to what you feel as it happens, so you can look back later and see it.
It’s a self-awareness tool for anyone who finds it hard to name their feelings.
NAME IT ON THE WHEEL
Start broad with six core feelings on the emotion wheel, then narrow it down step by step until you find the word that fits. All 78 feeling words come with a short meaning.
HOW STRONG, AND WHERE?
Mark how strong the feeling is, from mild to overwhelming, and where you notice it in your body. “Hard to say” is an answer too.
A FEW WORDS, IF YOU LIKE
Jot down what was happening. Short prompts help you start. After each check-in you’ll see a small idea to try.
CHECK IN AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE
Feelings shift during the day. Name them again whenever something changes. Missed a moment? Add one from the last two days.
SEE HOW YOUR WEEK MOVED
Your week shows each day’s feelings, what came up most and the moments you marked as important. Go back to past weeks and see what changed.
YOUR WORDS
Every word you’ve used, how often and when. Browse all 78 words, their meanings and similar words.
IF YOU SEE A THERAPIST (OPTIONAL)
Flag the moments you want to talk about and set session reminders. Only if you choose, share a short summary of your week as a PDF or text through the share sheet. You decide whether your notes are included.
GENTLE REMINDERS
An evening reminder and, if you want them, session reminders. All set up on your phone.

Feelings Wheel is not a medical or therapy app. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything and doesn’t replace professional care. If you don’t feel safe, you’ll find crisis lines in Settings and after a heavy check-in. You can call or text 988, and in an emergency call 911.
