Abyssal Bloom now fills the whole iPad screen, in any orientation. It stays optimized for iPhone Duo: the game fills the display and lays itself out for each way you hold the phone, with your swim controls within thumb's reach.
Abyssal Bloom is a quiet descent through a bioluminescent ocean. There is no score to chase and no way to fail — only depth, light, and the things that respond to you. Touch and hold, and your spirit swims toward your finger. Let go, and it drifts and slowly sinks. Pass near the sea's flora and it blooms around you in a surge of light and a soft chime. Gather drifting spores into your wake. Jellyfish pulse past, fish schools glint by, and if you go deep enough and wait, a whale will cross the dark, singing. Five zones, each with its own palette, light and life, blended continuously as you sink: • The Sunlit Veil — teal water, god rays and shimmering caustics • The Twilight Drift — indigo depths where the jellyfish gather • The Midnight Garden — near-black violet, dense with luminous flora • The Abyssal Bloom — neon life against true dark • The Hadal Ember — ember-red creatures in the void Every creature, color and sound is generated as you play. The first four zones, down through the Abyssal Bloom, are free to explore. A single one-time purchase opens the rest of the descent — no ads, no subscriptions, no accounts.
