• Rome's audio stories now come with photos of what they describe, included when you download Rome. • 5 new stories at the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, for 107 across Rome. • The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, the Baths of Caracalla and the Vatican are now outlined on the map. Tap a name to see its stories and entrances. • The blue dot now shows which way you're facing. • If you're in a city, the map opens where you are, and the location button responds faster. • Photo spot pictures stay on your phone once you've seen them, so they open quickly on slow connections. Some spots without a photo now have a reference photo. • Delete your own photo right from a spot's page, and see in My Shares which shares weren't approved. • The download button shows a dot when an update is ready • Bug fixes and small improvements.

AUDIO GUIDE: 102 STORIES ACROSS ROME The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, the Aventine Hill and more. The stories are grouped into walking tours, and each one stands on its own, so you can start anywhere. Playback continues when your screen is locked, and you can read along with the text. PHOTO SPOTS Each spot comes with a reference photo taken there and written directions, so you know where to stand and which way to shoot. EASTER EGGS Small, quirky sights tucked into streets and corners that are easy to walk past. TOILETS AND TOILET CODES Toilets in 30+ European cities, including London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Vienna. For toilets that need a code, see codes shared by other travelers and let others know whether a code still works. PLAN AHEAD: SAVE YOUR OWN SPOTS Planning your trip? Pin the photo spots you want to visit on your own map, and find them again when you get there. Saw a place on RedNote (Xiaohongshu) or Instagram? Copy the post link, open Pinwalkie, and it recognizes the post so you can pin the place. Everything you save goes to Added by me, visible only to you until you choose to share it. SHARE WITH OTHER TRAVELERS Share the photo spots, easter eggs and toilets you find. We review photo spots, easter eggs and toilets before they go public. You can report inappropriate content and block the person who posted it. ENGLISH AND CHINESE The app and the audio guides are available in English and Simplified Chinese, and follow your phone's language. Content shared by other travelers is translated on your phone, and you can always see the original. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Listen, browse and find toilets without signing up. Sign in with Apple to keep your favorites, the places you've added and your listening history when you switch phones. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
