Gatherlight is a retro film camera and CCD camera in one app. It puts 29 classic cameras in your pocket: disposable, 35mm rangefinder, half-frame, wide panorama, medium format, instant and Polaroid-style, CCD compact and vintage camcorder. Pick one, shoot at your own pace, and every frame looks like real film. Real-time film and CCD The viewfinder shows the finished image before you press the shutter, so what you see is what you get. Grain, halation, light leaks, chromatic dispersion, vignetting and fade are tuned camera by camera: warm golden highlights and cool green shadows for one model, high-contrast black-and-white grain for another, and the cold noise and colour shift of an early CCD sensor for a third. 29 cameras, one app Switch between single-use cameras, 35mm rangefinders, half-frame and wide panorama bodies, medium-format cameras, instant and Polaroid-style prints, early digital CCD compacts and a full set of vintage camcorders. Each model is a complete look you simply pick and shoot — not a preset you have to build yourself. Every classic camera, reimagined Gatherlight covers the film and digital looks people search for: a single-use disposable camera for careless summer shots, a 35mm rangefinder for everyday black-and-white and colour, a half-frame camera for twice the frames on one roll, a wide panorama for landscapes, a medium-format body for rich detail, and instant and Polaroid-style cameras for a print you can hold. On the digital side there are early CCD compacts with their unmistakable grain and colour, plus VHS, DV, 8mm, 16mm, cine and projector camcorders. Accessories Fisheye, star, prism, ND, light leak and colour flash. Every accessory has adjustable strength and can be stacked on any camera, so you can shape a look that is entirely your own. Film simulation, exactly your way Every camera pairs its own colour science with adjustable intensity, so you can dial the look from a subtle tint to full-strength nostalgia. Combine a warm instant camera with a light leak, or a cool CCD compact with fisheye — the combinations are yours to discover. Shoot like a real camera • Double exposure: expose the same frame twice for dreamy, ghosted photos • ISO 50–3200 and shutter 1/1000–1s: grain and noise respond to sensitivity • Date stamp: red print, orange seven-segment and other formats • Negative mode: no border or date, maximum room to re-develop • Timer, flash, front and rear camera, pinch zoom Video Six camcorder models — VHS, DV, 8mm, 16mm, cine and projector — apply film texture and tape scanlines while you record, so your clips look like they were shot on tape. Re-develop any shot Every photo keeps its digital negative. In the darkroom, switch to another camera or retune the parameters and wash the same negative again, as often as you like. One shot can become many finished prints. Import and organize Bring photos in from your library and apply any camera or accessory to them. The darkroom supports favourites, filtering by camera, detailed parameters and full-resolution export.
