• Ride and parking zones are now on by default: zoom in to see where riding or parking is forbidden and where to slow down. You can turn them off in Settings. • The map also shows the rules that cities and other authorities set, with the zones on or off: Seoul's kickboard-free streets, Arlington National Cemetery, and the zones of Bergen, Porto, Västerås, Norrköping and Boise, with their parking places in green. The legend names who sets each rule, and its hours where it has any. • More cities' own zones: Berlin's and Hamburg's, which the app downloads and keeps when you zoom in there, and those of Vienna, Munich, Oslo, Antwerp, Basel, Helsinki, Washington, Minneapolis and Vancouver, among others. • Voi, Dott and Bolt scooters from the operators' own maps now open in their apps too. • Bird in more towns, among them Austin, Charlotte, Sacramento and Yonkers; Lime in Dallas, Minneapolis, Nashville, Long Beach, Canberra and many more; and Ryde in Bergen. • A new operator on the map: RideMovi, with its scooters in Dresden. • "Data delayed" no longer shows for a short hiccup, only once the data is five minutes old.
ScootRadar puts every shared e-scooter around you on one map, whoever runs it, so the closest ride is the first thing you see. Each operator's app shows only its own fleet. ScootRadar shows them all, so the nearest scooter is simply the nearest one. KNOW THE WALK Distance and walking time from where you stand, or from an address you look up. Directions draws the way on foot on the map and follows you as you walk. SKIP THE FLAT ONES Battery and remaining range, where the operator publishes them. Set a minimum and the map keeps only the scooters that reach it. PRICE BEFORE YOU COMMIT An estimate from the operator's published rates for a ride of 5 to 30 minutes, with the free unlocks and free minutes of your passes taken into account. The operator's app shows the final price. ONE TAP TO THE RIGHT APP "Open in" takes you to the operator's own app, where you unlock and pay as usual. ScootRadar doesn't rent or reserve scooters. WHERE IT WORKS The scooters of 39 operators, in more than 1,000 towns and cities in 56 countries: Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and more of Europe; the United States and Canada; Brazil, Chile and Mexico; Japan, South Korea and Australia; Israel, Turkey, New Zealand and others. Among them are Berlin, Oslo, Tokyo, Chicago, Santiago, Rome, São Paulo, Stockholm, Seoul and Zürich. Where no operator publishes its data, the map says so and shows the closest cities that do. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account and no ads. Your location is used on your iPhone to centre the map and work out walking times; the server only receives the part of the map you are looking at. Anonymous usage statistics can be turned off in Settings.
