Talk Up Edu

Talk Up has been teaching online English speaking lessons since 2020. With this app you join your lessons live, with video, from your iPhone or iPad. Our method is simple: you learn by speaking. Your teacher asks you a question, you answer, and your answer leads to the next question. You do not just recognise phrases, you start using them in your own sentences. LESSONS • 1:1 lessons: 50 minutes, live and on video with your teacher. • Group conversation rooms: a real conversation with other people, led by a teacher. • Your lessons and teachers on one screen, with a reminder notification before the next lesson. • Add your lessons to your phone's calendar with one tap. IN THE LESSON • Live video and audio, with camera, microphone and speaker settings in one place. • Noise suppression, background blur or a background picture. • Raise your hand, chat during the lesson, open lesson files inside the app. • Watch your teacher's screen share, or share your own screen. • If you leave the app for a moment, the lesson keeps going in a small window, and the lock screen shows your lesson. MESSAGES AND ACCOUNT • Message your teacher and the Talk Up support team inside the app. • Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or e-mail and password. • Change your photo, name and password in the app, and delete your account in the app. • Read and search blog articles that help your English speaking (the blog is in Turkish). Talk Up is for adults (18 and over). Your lessons are linked to your Talk Up account; you sign in to the app with your account.
