Study Site Mapper

Study Site Mapper helps you create maps and explore data for a place you’re studying—all from your phone. It’s designed for students, researchers, planners, architects, and anyone preparing a site analysis. Choose a study area using an administrative boundary, coordinates, your location, a circle, a square, or a KML file. Select a basemap and explore available environmental, landscape, and socioeconomic layers. Adjust your map’s layout, title, and style, then export it as a PNG or PDF for a thesis, report, or presentation. The Loaded Data section provides available layer statistics, source information, and notes to help you interpret what the map shows. Save projects on your device and return to them later. An internet connection is needed to access map and data sources. Geographic layers come from third-party datasets; coverage, dates, and accuracy vary. Verify results against source data before using them for critical decisions.
