We are pleased to introduce AI Translate, a new capability within the GoodSAM AI module. Hold a two-way conversation with someone who speaks another language: each of you speaks naturally, and the other reads and hears the translation in real time. If your organisation has enabled it, you will find it on the Map. Also in this update: - Send & Sign from the Media tab - send files for signature and see each invite's progress at a glance, from opened to signed - Share your live stream with your contacts while you are streaming from the app - Accepted activities now appear at the top of your list, in their own section - Accepting an activity now takes you straight to its additional information - Links, email addresses and phone numbers in chats and activity details can now be tapped - A tidier Me tab - the On duty switch is now near the top, and your skills sit within your user information card - Certificate expiry now shows in the Readiness section of the Me tab, with a quick way to renew - Smarter refreshing behind the scenes, so the app only updates the screen you are on, saving battery and data Thank you for being part of the GoodSAM Community!
The GoodSAM Responder App is a professional deployment system used by Emergency Services around the world and the National Health Service in the UK. GoodSAM provides a range of solutions connecting those with specific skill sets to those in need, for example: - GoodSAM Cardiac: This system is used by ambulance services to alert those trained in resuscitation (e.g. off duty paramedics, nurses, doctors, police and fire staff) to those nearby who are likely to be in cardiac arrest. This system has saved many lives around the world. - GoodSAM Volunteer Response: GoodSAM is a platform used by the NHS and 3rd sector organisation such as the Royal Voluntary Service and British Red Cross to deploy volunteers to those in need. At the current time this is coordinating the 750,000 NHS Volunteers to help those isolated in the Coronavirus crisis. - GoodSAM Pro: This is a professional dispatch system for community first responders and the emergency services. The App utilises the latest in location technology and has many advanced features including a built in “radio” (Buzz) function so you can communicate with surrounding colleagues. The GoodSAM platform has saved hundreds of lives and helped many thousands of people around the world.
