• Added 2027 public holidays based on Singapore ministry of Manpower: https://www.mom.gov.sg/newsroom/press-releases/2026/0618-public-holidays-for-2027 • All app features are now made available to users • Minimum iOS target increased to iOS 13 due to App Store requirements • 'Vesak' and 'Christmas' are now 'Vesak Day' and 'Christmas Day' Important Note: Starting April 2027, SG Next Holiday will no longer be updated as all apps submitted to the App Store must target at least iOS 15. This app has been in the App Store since 2014 with a minimum requirement of iOS 12/13 to cater to as many users as possible. It is too old and will require building a brand-new app from the ground up. The app will continue to remain functional and all features are now available to users. Thank you for supporting and using the app over all these years.
Ever wonder when is the next public holiday in Singapore? Need a quick reference to Singapore's public holidays? SG Next Holiday is the app for you as it provides Singapore's public holiday information in a clear and simple card format. • Singapore public holidays with upcoming holiday highlighted Qns: Why is the newly announced public holiday not on SG Next Holiday app immediately? Ans: SG Next Holiday does not make use of users' Internet to download public holiday information. It will require some time to amend and test the app as well as to go through Apple's review before the new public holiday information is available via an app update. Thank you for your patience and understanding. • Add/Update all holidays of a chosen year to default calendar If holidays have been added with this function previously, using it again will update calendar with any new changes instead and not create duplicates. Please note that the calendar events created are “timezone aware” and thus not all-day events. • Countdown Mode Toggle display to show countdown to holidays and count up for holidays that are over. Find out the number of days till Singapore’s National Day, Christmas, etc, and how many days have passed since the New Year, etc. • Designed for better usability on bigger iPhone displays Main controls are placed at the bottom of the screen. For users who are not in the same timezone as Singapore: Please note that app-displayed holiday dates are unconverted Singapore dates to minimise confusion, such as displaying the New Year as 31 Dec of previous year.
