HOW IT WORKS • Scan: the app goes through your library and groups what belongs together • Swipe: left to go, right to keep — one decision per photo • Check: review the selected photos and videos before you decide • Clean up: on Android 11 and later, confirm moving files to the system trash. On Android 10, open files individually in your gallery, delete them there if needed, then scan again. No photos are uploaded, there is no account and no sign-up. PostHog may process pseudonymous technical usage events and RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription data — neither of them ever sees a picture. No ads, no advertising trackers. WHAT THE APP CANNOT DO It tidies your photo library, not files outside it. Undo covers your last swipe, not a deletion — that is what the archive is for. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Does the app delete anything on its own? No. For photo and video cleanup on Android 11 and later, you confirm the system prompt. On Android 10, CleanPix does not delete files in this step; you decide in your gallery. Do I need the internet? No. Scanning, grouping and scoring all run on the device. Do I need an account? No. No sign-up, no email address. Can I get deleted photos back? From the archive, yes, if you archived first. For photo-library cleanup on Android 11 or later, the system trash also applies, with its usual retention period.
