Conduit bending calculator for electricians and apprentices. Enter your measurements the way your tape reads them and get every bend mark, measured from the end of the conduit, with the shrink, the distance between bends and the steps in the order you bend them. WHAT IT CALCULATES • Offsets: distance between bends, shrink, and the first mark from the end of the pipe when there is an obstruction • Rolling offsets: true offset and roll from the rise and the roll • Parallel offsets and parallel kicks: how far to shift each conduit so a rack stays evenly spaced • 3-point saddles with a 45°, 60° or 90° center bend, and 4-point saddles over boxes, beams and ducts • 90° stub-ups using the take-up of the bender in your hand, back-to-back 90s and conduit needed • Kicks: travel, run and shrink, or the angle from rise and run • Segmented 90s and concentric bends: degrees per shot, mark spacing, developed length • Compound 90s around a round, square or rectangular obstruction in a corner • Field matcher: measure a bend that already exists and get the angle to match it • NEC conduit fill (Chapter 9) for EMT, IMC, rigid, PVC 40 and 80, FMC and ENT, and box fill per NEC 314.16 REAL BENDER TAKE-UP Pick your bender and shoe size and the marks use its real take-up and radius. The catalog covers Klein, Greenlee, IDEAL, Milwaukee, Southwire and Gardner Bender hand benders from 1/2" to 1-1/4" EMT and rigid, plus Greenlee 1818 and 555 shoes. Edit any value or add your own bender. MARKS YOU CAN TRUST Exact trigonometry corrected for the centerline radius of the shoe, so marks land within 1/16" at any angle. Prefer the numbers on the bender sticker (30° = 2, 45° = 1.4, shrink 1/4" and 3/8" per inch)? Switch to field rules and both values are shown side by side.
