GoodSwap is a healthy food scanner app and non-toxic ingredient checker in one: every product gets a 0–100 score, every ingredient is explained with its source, and you get a better swap of the same kind. Our rules do the scoring, the same way every time. HOW PROCESSED IS IT? Use GoodSwap as a processed food scanner: it names the industrial additives that make a product ultra-processed, counts them in the score, and points you to a less processed swap. Label Lens: An Ingredient Scanner for Any Label No barcode? Label Lens turns your camera into a food label scanner. Point it at the ingredient list and each ingredient lights up on the label itself, in green, amber, orange or red. NOT IN OUR DATABASE YET? SNAP THE LABEL Take a photo of the label. AI reads the ingredients and nutrition facts in about 10 seconds, our rules score the product, and everyone who scans it next gets the result. Healthy Swaps When there's a better option, GoodSwap shows a cleaner pick from the same aisle: chips for chips, shampoo for shampoo. Brands can't pay for a score, a placement or a swap. Ever. Your Lens, Your Rules Choose the standard that fits you: Balanced, Real Food (no seed oils or synthetic dyes), Ultra-Processed Free, Low-Tox, Kids, Pregnancy, Blood-Sugar Friendly or Allergy-Safe. A lens changes your personal verdict, never the shared score. Clean Beauty, Checked GoodSwap is also a cosmetic scanner, skincare ingredient checker and toxic ingredients checker that shows its evidence. The Low-Tox lens flags fragrance, parabens, formaldehyde releasers, PFAS, phthalates and chemical UV filters in cosmetics and cleaners. The Pregnancy lens flags retinoids, hydroquinone and other ingredients to avoid while pregnant. One Scan, a Verdict for Everyone Add family profiles with allergies, diets (vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, halal, kosher, keto, low-FODMAP) and ingredients to avoid. Living gluten-free? Set it once and every scan checks it. The allergy check fails safe: "may contain" counts as a no. Food Recall Alerts Recall Radar checks official food recalls and product recalls from the FDA, USDA and CPSC against the products you keep at home, and warns you if something you own is recalled.
