Evolution action game: eat smaller creatures, mutate and face apex predators.
Glutling is an evolution action game about eating your way up the food chain. Start as a speck of life in a warm primordial ocean, eat creatures smaller than you, absorb their DNA and choose mutations that reshape your body, while bigger predators hunt you. Grow through the sea, the shore and a prehistoric land, and take on the apex predator that rules each biome. Eat or be eaten Glutling is a 2D side-view game for one player. Steer with a touch joystick, and bite, dash and use your ability with the round buttons. Anything under half your size is swallowed whole, creatures near your size fight back, and red rings mark anything that is hunting you. Every creature you eat feeds your growth and your DNA. Mutate and evolve Complete six objectives in each biome to earn mutations: pick one of three cards drawn from 26, with one reroll to start and an extra one each time you evolve. The DNA you eat (predator, armour, speed, venom, electric and regeneration) weights the cards you are offered and shapes how you evolve. Three evolutions take you to your final form, and your body follows the DNA you eat most, with 40 player forms across the game. Six biomes, six apex predators Travel from the Primordial Ocean and the Shallow Reef to the Open Ocean, the dark Deep Ocean, the Shore and Prehistoric Land, where you jump on land and swim in the water. Reach your final form and the biome's apex predator arrives. Learn its wind-up, dodge its charge and bite its side while it is exposed. When a run ends in defeat, the run summary tells you what would have helped. 54 creatures to discover Fill your encyclopedia with 54 species in seven groups, from glowing microbes and jellyfish to sharks, crabs and ancient reptiles. Each one stays a silhouette until you eat it. More ways to play Endless mode brings an apex predator at every new stage. Seven challenge runs twist the rules: venom mutations only, half health with double attack, a race to grow, no biting, a deep ocean with half the light and more. Play with touch, a gamepad or a keyboard, in landscape. The game plays offline; ads, buying Premium and Restore purchases need a connection. Six illustrated How to Play pages get you started, and Settings lets you choose a larger text size. Free with ads; optional Premium removes ads - The whole game is free: all six biomes, their apex fights, Endless runs and all seven challenges, with no time limits. - A short ad can play when you leave the end-of-run summary, never during a run: none in your first ten minutes of play, and at most one every five minutes. On the mode screen you can also choose to watch an ad to wear the Prismatic look for an hour. - Premium, a single A$3.99 payment, stops the ads between runs for good and gives you the Prismatic look, a rainbow sheen and glowing trail that is cosmetic only and never changes how the game plays. If you bought Glutling before, you already have Premium. Restore purchases is in Settings. Google Play shows the price for your country before you pay. - No subscription. No account needed. Progress is saved on your device. For parents Made for players aged 9 and up. It is a fantasy creature game: you eat smaller creatures and bigger ones can eat you. The creatures are painted and stylised, with no blood and no people. There is no chat and no account. The ads come from Google AdMob and are set up for children for every player: child-directed, rated G at most and non-personalised, without the advertising ID, and only between runs. The game asks one neutral question, the year of birth, which can be skipped and stays on the device; it asks for no other personal details. Buying Premium asks a grown-up to answer a sum first, and Premium is the only purchase. Glutling is made by TIERcel Studio. Questions or ideas?
