WaClean: limpiador multimedia

WaClean finds the media that WhatsApp stores on your phone and lets you delete it, showing you exactly what you're deleting before you delete it. CHATS REMAIN UNMODIFIED WaClean removes files from storage. It does not read, alter, or delete messages from any conversations or WhatsApp backups. RECEIVED AND SENT, SEPARATELY What you receive takes up the same amount of space as what you send, but it's not the same value. The Received and Sent tabs allow you to clear one without affecting the other. NINE CATEGORIES WITH THEIR ACTUAL SIZE Images, videos, voice notes, video notes, audio files, documents, stickers, GIFs, and statuses. Each category shows how many files it contains and how much space it occupies. You can sort them by size or date and filter by age: more than 3 months, more than 6 months, or more than a year. WHAT TAKES UP THE MOST SPACE AT A GLANCE A list of the 50 largest files across all categories, so you don't have to go into each one and compare them from memory. TRUE DUPLICATES Detects files with the same content, not just the same name or date, and suggests keeping the oldest in each group. You adjust the selection before confirming. SEE WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DELETE Thumbnails, a player for voice notes, audio, and video, and a full-screen preview. Documents and audio files, which don't have thumbnails, are displayed with their name, date, and size: no more deciding on indistinguishable squares. SELECT QUICKLY, CONFIRM CAREFULLY Select everything, invert the selection, tap a month header to select the entire month, or press and hold and drag. Then, each deletion is confirmed, indicating how many files are being deleted and how much space is being freed. This confirmation cannot be disabled: the deletion is permanent, and there is no recycle bin or undo function. SAVE A COPY FIRST, IF YOU WANT Create a .zip file containing what WaClean manages in the location of your choice before deleting anything. WHATSAPP CACHE In Settings, you can clear the link previews that WhatsApp saves and recreates when needed. This is separate from the rest, requiring your own confirmation. THEMES AND OPTIONAL REMINDER Light, dark, or pure black theme for AMOLED screens, or the system theme. A reminder with your chosen day, time, and frequency is also available; this feature is disabled by default. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE WaClean does not request internet access: without it, Android does not allow network connections. No analytics, no account, no logging, and no ads. It does not require storage permissions: you choose the WhatsApp folder, and WaClean works only within it. The only exception is notification alerts, and only if you enable reminders. WHAT WACLEAN DOESN'T DO It doesn't promise to speed up your phone. It doesn't display alarming alerts. It doesn't delete anything on its own or schedule automatic cleanups. It has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. AN HONEST WARNING WaClean only shows the media you might want to keep or delete, and it leaves out WhatsApp's internal files, so it will report less space than a file explorer. This is intentional.
