Turn a photo of a table into an editable Excel spreadsheet in seconds. Scan it, check it, and save it as XLSX or CSV. Works offline and keeps your images private.
Image to Excel converts photos, pictures, screenshots and scanned pages into real spreadsheets. Snap a price list, an invoice, a receipt or a printed report, and the app finds the rows and columns for you. The built-in OCR table scanner turns any image into an XLSX or CSV file you can open in Excel, Google Sheets or the built-in editor.
Photo, JPG or PNG to Excel
• Scan tables with your camera, with automatic edge detection and cropping
• Import pictures from your gallery or files: JPG to Excel, PNG to Excel, JPG to XLSX and screenshots
• Share an image from any app straight into Image to Excel
• Scan up to 10 pages and combine them into one sheet, or one sheet per page
Check before you save
Image to Excel shows your photo and the table side by side, so you can trust the result:
• Cells the app is unsure about are highlighted, with a "cells to check" counter
• Tap a cell to see exactly where it came from in the photo
• Edit, split, join or move cells, add or remove rows and columns, with undo
Smart spreadsheet cells
• Numbers stay numbers, so totals, sums and formulas work in Excel
• Prices keep their currency: ₦, $, €, £, ₹ and more
• Dates are saved as real dates
• Phone numbers, IDs and codes keep their leading zeros
Built-in Excel viewer and editor
Open your files without leaving the app. Edit cells, format text, add rows, columns and sheets, use formulas, search, and undo or redo. You can also open other .xlsx, .xls and .csv files on your phone.
Private and offline
• The table scanner runs on your phone, with no internet needed
• Your images are never uploaded to any server
• No account, no sign-up, no subscriptions
• Files are saved on your device and can be copied to Downloads
Great for
Use it as a receipt scanner, an invoice scanner or a quick way to scan to Excel:
• Invoices, receipts and bills
• Price lists, stock and inventory sheets
• Sales reports and expense tables
• Timetables, class schedules and school results
• Screenshots of tables from websites, emails or documents
Tips for the best results
Use good light, hold your phone flat above the page, fill the frame with the table and scan one table per photo. Image to Excel works best with printed text in Latin-alphabet languages such as English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Handwritten tables may need more corrections.
