A word chain game that tells you why a word is not allowed. It is judged based on the National Institute of Korean Language's dictionary of 430,000 words.
"Why isn't this word allowed?" There are times when you feel aggrieved while playing the word chain game. It is a word that clearly exists, yet it is not recognized, and no reason is given. The Korean dictionary word chain is different. If a word is not recognized, it clearly tells you the reason. · "'Sikjaeri-gap' (price of food ingredients) is not in the dictionary. 'Sikjaeri' (food ingredients) is a headword, but the form with 'gap' attached is not listed." · "'School Education' does not exist in the unconnected form. If written separately like 'School Education,' it is a headword in the Standard Korean Dictionary." · If you are still curious, you can look it up directly in Urimalsaem. ■ 430,000 words in the National Institute of Korean Language Dictionary The Standard Korean Dictionary, Urimalsaem, and the Basic Korean Dictionary are used together. You can choose the dictionary scope from three options. · Standard Words Only — Only words listed in the Standard Korean Dictionary are accepted · Basic — Includes words from *Urimalsaem* · Broad — Includes dialects, North Korean words, and archaic words ■ AI Follows the Same Rules The opposing AI does not play words that it cannot connect to. The AI never wins by using strange words alone. There are three difficulty levels. · Easy — Focuses on beginner vocabulary · Medium — Everyday vocabulary · Hard — Moves that corner the opponent ■ Displays Word Meanings The meanings of the words played by the AI and the words you play are displayed together. You will encounter unfamiliar words while playing. ■ Sets Rules for "One-Shot Words" You can disable or allow "One-Shot Words" that cannot be connected to the next. Since they cannot always be used as the first word, the game does not end in a single move. ■ Works Without Internet The dictionary is included in the app, so it operates offline. You can play on the subway or on an airplane. ■ For Those Who · Those who were frustrated with the judgment in word chain apps · Those who want to expand their vocabulary · Those who teach or learn Korean · Those who want to use their brains quickly ───────────────── Dictionary Data: National Institute of Korean Language Standard Korean Dictionary, Uri Mal Saem, Basic Korean Dictionary License: CC BY-SA 2.0 KR This app was created by an individual developer unrelated to the National Institute of Korean Language, and it is not sponsored or endorsed by the National Institute of Korean Language.
