Beside

Every day, we're surrounded by interesting people who are open to conversation. In the very places we frequent. And we don't even know it. Beside is your excuse for live communication in the moment. When you're in a location, chat with those nearby. City establishments and university campuses function as digital rooms, making it easy to take the first step and start a conversation. The city map displays the number of people open to conversation at locations. People's profiles only open when you're in that location and active there. You can choose your favorite establishments and check in at them. Users will see you and be able to invite you to chat. HOW IT WORKS: ALL ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE CITY. The map shows the number of users open to conversation in real time. Choose highly active places and plan your outing. A UNIVERSITY WITHOUT BORDERS. Universities are represented on the map. Department, year, and specialization—at Beside, there are no such "floors." Students are all connected to a single chat room. COMMUNICATION ONLY HERE AND NOW. Profile visibility and private chats are active while you're in a location. As soon as you leave a location, your profile disappears from the location, and chats are deactivated. VIRTUAL PRESENCE. Mark your favorite places and be visible there, even if you're not there. Users in these locations will see you and can initiate a conversation. COMFORTABLE COMMUNICATION. You decide who to chat with. When someone asks you to chat, first look at their profile. If your request isn't accepted, the conversation won't start. QUICK REGISTRATION. Log in with a couple of clicks via Google or Apple ID – create a profile in seconds and start chatting without lengthy questionnaires. WHO IS THIS APP FOR? Beside is designed for those open to new connections in the city's establishments. It's also for students who want to easily find "their" people on campus. Install the app. Activate in every location. Discover the city in a new way! Beside. Real People. Real Places.
