Place any image in front of your camera and trace over it directly on your phone screen. No complicated setup, no special equipment — just open the app and start drawing. It's one of the most straightforward AR trace and draw experiences available on Android. What You Can Do With This App Trace anime characters and sketch them onto paper with AR guidance Draw animals, people, and custom figures using the camera overlay Practice freehand sketching with real reference images Use the AR sketchpad to build your drawing skills at your own pace Add and trace custom text in different styles for lettering practice Work with your own photos or use built-in reference content How Draw Anime Works The app uses your phone's camera to overlay a semi-transparent reference image onto your screen. You position your phone above a piece of paper, and the image appears as a light guide. You simply trace what you see. This AR draw technique has helped thousands of people learn the basics of proportion, line work, and shape — things that normally take months to get right. It works for quick sketches and detailed artwork alike. Adjust the opacity of the overlay to make tracing easier or more challenging depending on your skill level. Anime Drawing and Tracing Anime-style art has specific proportions and details that can be difficult to replicate without a reference. This app is built with anime drawing in mind. Trace anime characters from your favourite shows, practice drawing faces, eyes, hair, and full body poses. The AR draw anime feature makes it easy to study how professional anime art is structured before you attempt drawing on your own. Whether you want to trace anime characters for fun or seriously study the art style, the camera overlay gives you an accurate guide to work from. Custom Text Drawing Beyond character art, the app includes a text drawing feature. You can type any word or phrase and use it as a tracing reference. This is useful for hand-lettering practice, logo sketching, calligraphy training, and creating custom artwork with stylized text. Different font styles are available to match whatever look you are going for. Animal and Character Drawing Not just for anime — the app also works great for drawing animals, cartoon characters, and real-world subjects. Load a photo of any animal or character, set up your Draw Anime sketchpad, and trace it at whatever speed works for you. It's a reliable way to learn how different shapes and lines come together in a finished drawing. Sketch and Tracing Tools Adjustable image opacity for easier or harder tracing Zoom and reposition the reference image as needed Clean, distraction-free drawing interface Works with your own gallery images Smooth performance on most Android devices For Beginners and Practicing Artists If you are just starting out with drawing, the AR trace and sketch system removes the frustration of not knowing where to begin. You build muscle memory, learn proportions, and get a feel for line weight — all through regular practice. For artists who already have some experience, it's a fast way to study new subjects and styles without spending hours on rough sketches. Why This App Stands Out Most drawing apps focus on digital art on-screen. This one is different — it bridges the gap between your phone and real paper drawing.
