Measure distances with AR or calibrated camera estimates in Lite Mode.
AR Measure Toolbox helps you estimate distances using your Android camera. AR measurement On devices that support ARCore, scan a surface and tap to place points. Connect several points to measure a path, see the latest segment and total distance, and switch between metric and imperial units. Undo a point or clear the measurement to start again. Calibrated Lite Mode When ARCore is unavailable, use the camera with a reference object of known length. Calibrate with a credit card, the short edge of A4 paper, a US dollar bill, or a custom length, then tap the endpoints you want to measure. Keep the reference and target on a flat surface at the same distance from the camera. Recalibrate when the camera position or distance changes. Measurements are estimates. Results depend on the device, tracking, lighting, surfaces and calibration. Use an appropriate measuring tool when accurate measurements are essential. Camera access is required for measurement. Choose English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Hindi, Persian, German or Vietnamese in the app. The home screen includes a banner ad, privacy and terms links, and a Google Play rating link. Advertising privacy choices are available when required.
